Our Journey: From Vision to Reality
My journey with Harshasoft begins in 2014, when I, Harsha Madushanka, was fueled by a passion for digital innovation and a desire to create something of my own. After completing the High Diploma in Computer Science (HDCS) program at Infortec International Asian Campus, I knew it was time to turn my vision into reality. But I also realized that I needed more experience before launching my startup.
In the early days, I worked in various small shops, advertising firms, software companies, and other businesses, learning the ropes and gaining the skills necessary to build a successful venture. This hands-on experience was invaluable, as it provided me with the practical knowledge I needed to navigate the challenges of the digital world.
Eager to expand my knowledge further, I enrolled at the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT) to pursue my degree. My thirst for learning didn't stop there; I later continued my studies at the National School of Business Management (NSBM) and eventually completed my Bachelor’s degree from Victoria University in Melbourne. Throughout this period, I was not just a student—I was also an entrepreneur, constantly researching, refining, and growing my small startup.
In April 2022, Harshasoft officially became a registered entity under the Sri Lankan government. This was a significant milestone, marking the transition from a passion project to a legitimate business. Although our team was small, it was composed of highly skilled professionals, each bringing a unique set of talents to the table.
Harshasoft quickly began to attract both local and overseas clients, a testament to the quality and dedication of our team. Our hard work was recognized on the international stage in 2022, when we were nominated for the prestigious A'Design Award & Competition—a milestone that underscored our commitment to excellence and innovation.
By 2024, Harshasoft had expanded beyond Sri Lanka, establishing a branch in Melbourne, Australia. With this expansion, we embraced the role of a full-stack performance marketing agency, offering comprehensive digital solutions to clients around the world. Our team, now eight members strong, continues to drive forward with the same passion and dedication that fueled our inception.
Today, Harshasoft stands as a testament to the power of perseverance, continuous learning, and innovation. What started as a dream has grown into a thriving business, helping clients achieve their goals with cutting-edge digital marketing strategies. And this is just the beginning—our journey continues as we strive to reach new heights and set new standards in the digital marketing industry.
